News & Announcements
It was so nice to have a full week with the students. We started off the week at our monthly staff meeting discussing the importance of designing creative, engaging lessons throughout the month of May because we want to ensure learning continues, regardless of how many days are left.
Be aware of our building's end-of-year events including the 3rd grade annual carnival, end of year parties and more!
PTO Committee sign-ups are open for next school year and the ice cream social is in danger of being canceled if a few key positions are not filled. Available positions include raffle coordinator, day of inside manager and volunteer coordinator.
We definitely sailed the stormy seas over the last week or so. Thank you so much to all of our families, students, and staff members for pulling together and showing what it means when we say “All HANCE on Deck.”
It is hard to believe we are into May. While this month tends to be extremely busy with fun, end-of-year events, we are still focusing on maximizing instructional time to ensure students have met grade-level mastery.
The annual Hance Picnic will be held on Friday, May 30. Mrs. Giran will be grilling her famous hotdogs. Students will purchase/pack their lunch as usual, but this year, the HPTO will provide a dessert for students.
