Hance students, staff and families raised $33,735 in their Glow Run fundraiser and celebrated with a fun assembly on February 18 in which teachers played Human Hungry, Hungry Hippos and students turned Mrs. Giran into a walking taco.

Hance PTO hosted a kindness-themed assembly for students on November 21 featuring a performance from Saltworks Theatre Company.

Hance students invited veteran family members to join them for a special Veterans Day breakfast and then participated in a parade through the school. Their fellow students colored signs and posters to thank all of the veterans in attendance.

Kindergarten students Daveena Estrada (Wexford), Jacob Mitchell (Richland) and Ella DaDamo (Hance) were this year's kindergarten speakers at commencement. The Class of 2025 presented each student with a donation to their school's library.

Our last After-School Play Time is planned for Friday, May 22.

Hance needs lunchtime volunteers through the remainder of the school year.

For our April 23 staff appreciation lunch, we're setting up a make-your-own salad bar! We're looking for parents willing and able to donate various toppings, dressings, and drinks for staff to enjoy.

The National Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day is recognized on the fourth Thursday in April each year. Parents of students in our schools are encouraged, if participating, to use April 23 or choose a date in the summer months.
