Hance students, staff and families raised $33,735 in their Glow Run fundraiser and celebrated with a fun assembly on February 18 in which teachers played Human Hungry, Hungry Hippos and students turned Mrs. Giran into a walking taco.

Hance students invited veteran family members to join them for a special Veterans Day breakfast and then participated in a parade through the school. Their fellow students colored signs and posters to thank all of the veterans in attendance.

This year's Ice Cream Social will take place on Friday, September 18. This event is currently sold out! Tickets will be needed if the event is held indoors due to inclement weather. All Hance families are welcome if held outdoors; no ticket necessary.

Under the PRSD electronic device policy, personal devices, including smartwatches, are not permitted for use during the school day. We have noticed an increasing number of students using smartwatches to play games or message family members.

Each year, our secondary school counselors provide our students with a variety of lessons. Kindergarten students need to be opted in to these lessons, while students in grades 1-12 may be opted out by parents.
