Motivational speaker Jon Pritikin visited Hance Elementary to talk to students about his experiences overcoming a speech problem and bullying. One of the world's strongest men and Guinness World Record Holder, Mr. Pritikin entertained the students with feats of strength, including tearing a ream of paper in half, while reinforcing his messages about what it means to be kind and that everyone can be kind.

All six Pine-Richland schools have been recognized by the Pennsylvania Positive Behavior Support Network for achieving Tier I with Fidelity status for implementing and sustaining school-wide positive behavior interventions and supports through the RAMS Way program during the 2023-2024 school year.

I want to take this opportunity to wish all of our Hance families a very Happy Thanksgiving! At Hance, we are so thankful for you. We hope you use the upcoming break to connect as a family, spend time with friends, and laugh until your hearts are full!

For the third year in a row, Pine-Richland student art will be displayed at Pine Community Center through mid-January. All members of the community are encouraged to stop by to see what our K-8 students have been working on this school year!
