About
Hance Elementary is located in Gibsonia and is a part of the Pine-Richland School District. Hance Elementary is one of three primary buildings in the district. The building houses grades K-3. Kindergarten is a half-day program, and lunch is not served. Students at Hance Elementary in grades 1-3 experience weekly classes for art, computers, library, music and physical education. Students in kindergarten experience computers and library as their specials throughout the week.
Each classroom at Hance Elementary has an interactive display board that allows students to learn through various modalities. It also enables teachers to project images and integrate other wireless devices to make lessons more engaging.
Hance Elementary strives to align with the district's mission, vision and values. We focus on learning for every student every day in a variety of ways. In 2023, U.S. News and World Report named Hance #68, part of the top 2.2%, of Pennsylvania elementary schools.
