Staff Appreciation Week

Defy gravity from May 5 - 9 by helping the PTO uplift our staff! The HPTO is now accepting volunteers for door decorating and recess coverage along with lunch item donations.

The PTO has door ideas that we are happy to provide to helpers to have them execute. The door decor can be done ahead of time at home and simply hung up that evening or it can all be done on the night of May 5. We welcome working in teams to get the job done. We have 21 doors not covered by home room coordinators and no volunteers currently. The PTO board would need The Grimmerie on hand to pull that off! Can you help us pull off some magic? If you want to help but are not available on May 5 to hang it up, that’s okay. You can sign up for the slot and just write in the comment that you need someone else to hang it up!

For recess coverage, you must be a registered independent volunteer with the district. Registering as an independent volunteer allows you to help with things like this AND allows you to go on field trips! If you’re interested in becoming one, information can be found here.

If you sign up to help with lunch donations, please reach out if you have quantity questions or need to drop off outside of the stated windows. The HPTO is happy to work with you on that.
