The PTO is comprised of all parents, guardians, teachers and staff members. That’s YOU! There are no fees to join and it cannot exist without the generosity of our many volunteers. The PTO is led by elected board members and committee chairs.  The PTO’s annual budget is used to support the students and staff of Hance Elementary. The purpose of the HPTO is to promote the well-being of students through HPTO-sponsored activities. We strive to stimulate children’s growth physically, emotionally and culturally. Our goal is to create and promote projects to benefit the students and facilitate united efforts between teachers and parents in order to create an enriched learning environment. Through our efforts, we hope to foster a closer relationship between home and school life. 

 

The PTO needs parents, guardians and staff to support its annual fundraisers and to volunteer for events. We welcome your involvement whether you prefer behind the scenes help or by coordinating and attending events. Experience is NOT required. We make volunteer requests periodically throughout the school year or you may contact a Board member to immediately get involved! Please consider giving generously of your time – it is our children who will ultimately benefit from your generosity. 

  

PTO Meetings are open to EVERYONE! Check the School Calendar on the home page for dates and time for these meetings. Mark your calendars and bring your friends! The PTO holds a minimum of 5 meetings throughout the school year usually with an invited guest-speaker who can share information regarding academics and activities in the school and/or community. All parents and/or guardians, staff and administration of Hance Elementary School can be members of the PTO.
