RAMS Way Cafeteria

In the cafeteria, students are able to earn five extra minutes of recess each week for showing Respectful, Accountable, Motivated, and/or Safe behavior.  Each class has a RAM that represents their class on the mountain.  At the end of lunch each day, the staff on duty reflects on student behavior and announces if the class RAM is able to move up the mountain to work toward the positive group acknowledgement.  If the RAM moves up the mountain 4 out of 5 days per week, students earn an extra five minutes of recess.

Additionally, students are able to earn tickets or individual acknowledgements for displaying the RAMS Way expectations in the cafeteria.  This continues to be an area of focus for our students.  Please ask your child about what RAMS Way behavior in the cafeteria looks like.  Creating a common language about cafeteria behavior is important as this initiative extends from K-12!
